After all, the town of Thatcham is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the strongest claimant to be the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in Britain. Sure enough, the remains of a Mesolithic settlement can be found in close proximity, and the town is home to such other historic structures as the 14^th-century chapel of St. Thomas the Martyr.

It has an exclusive private entrance, along with its own reception and bar area.
